Jason Ellison - Saxophone Private Lesson Teacher

 Jason Ellison holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Southwestern College and Master of Music from Texas Tech University.  His primary mentors have been David Dees, Jean Lansing, Michael Wilder, Tim Erlich, Karen Craig and Brad Leali.  He has had the honor to perform in masterclasses for Jean-Marie Londeix and Eric Nestler. As a freelance saxophonist and teacher for over 15 years, Jason has had the privilege to help his students garner accolades at the Region, Area and State levels of the Texas UIL System in both classical and jazz idioms.  Some of his students have gone on to have success in the professional world of music as educators and performers.  Jason maintains an active studio of students spanning Hurst, Birdville, Mansfield, Kennedale and Ft. Worth Independent School Districts.Jason has been a contract musician for Princess Cruise Lines, Roswell (NM), Hobbs (NM) and San Angelo (TX) Symphonies.  In the metroplex he has performed with various variety bands, the Jazz Monsters, Buddy's Big Band and in the pit orchestra of the Artisan Theater.
